Wow its been awhile

So i knew this would happen... i woud start a blog then slowly post less and less till i havent posted in over 2 weeks!!!

So yes i need to let everyone know how we are! Peyton decided to start sleeping through the night 4 nights ago... which would be awesome for me if i wasnt waking up 3-4 times a night because im sick... but when i get better, i will be soooo thankful for it. Last Tuesday we took Peyton to get her picture taken with Santa. Thankfully she didnt cry but she wouldnt stop staring at Santa wondering who the heck he was! so the picture we got is one of her and Santa staring at eachother, which is very cute lol.

Christmas is coming.... we havent bought ANY presents yet... but we are waiting until Brian gets time off to go shopping with me so that we can get a babysitter for Peyton and go buy her presents together which should be fun for us! THis year we cant really go overboard because we arent able to financially but i know that just being together and sharing time with eachother and some good friends we will have a great Christmas!!!

Terrible Tuesday

Ok so not completely terrible. Peyton slept from 7:30 pm till 6:30 am which is awesome but waking up at 6:30 to me is not awesome. Plus she has a runny nose, so she wouldnt go back to sleep so i booger sucked her nose but then she was so mad that she didnt want to go back to sleep, so we watched cartoons for a bit. I think her second tooth is going to pop through anyday now... hopefully soon so she can stop feeling yucky. I feel bad for my little bugger!

So bored

Ugh i hate when Brian has overnight duty... he comes home and sleeps all day and i feel like i have to creep around the house. Plus he is so grumpy when he gets home, and i especially hate when he falls asleep on the couch and starts snoring... Snoring bugs me, even if im not trying to sleep the sound is just annoying.

Im so tired of seeing clouds. It has been cloudy and raining since Tuesday and its been cold and windy. Im just ready for some sun. Although i think Saturday and Sunday should be nice. its supposed to be sunny and 70's on Sunday! yay!!! Peyton and i were supposed to run to Goodwill yesterday to drop off our donations from the yard sale but then Brian came home and we wanted to see him befor he was gone for the night. I thought about going today but i jsut dont feel like doing anything at all... hmmmm... Peyton is down for her morning nap, maybe i will join in the sleep fest too!!!

Boring Monday....

So not much going on today, just hanging around the house. Peyton is down for an afternoon nap and i really should be cleaning my messy house but right now i just feel like being lazy and relaxing. This week probably wont be an exciting one. Tomorrow we have to run to Goodwill to drop off the things we didnt sell at the yard sale. Im very excited to get all of the stuff out of the garage and get it organized!!! Wednesday we will be off to church to hangout with the other ladies for a few hours. Other then that we dont have anything planned this week =(

Money Makers!!

Yesterday we had a yard sale at our house, in about 2 hours we made almost 200 dollars. I was very excited and i wasnt expecting that much at all so i was very happy. Although we still have a lot left over so we will be making a trip to the goodwill tomorrow to drop off our stuff. Yesterday afternoon we decided to take the sale money and buy Peyton some new clothes since she keeps growing out of everything. We went to Kohls and to Target and definately got some good deals and some cute stuff. Then Brian got to come home early so we were very happy to see him, excepy he was so tired that he fell asleep on the couch. Peyton actually went to sleep at a decent time last night at 7:30 instead of 9:30 like the previous night!!!!

Today should be a nice day, we are off to church at 9am for a members meeting and then service at 10am, Peyton gets to hangout in the nursery with the other babies and play. Then tonight we are off to life group for dinner and hangout with our friends from church! So heres to a good day! God Bless!

so for the past few days when i try to rock Peyton to sleep she just isnt having it. She gets all squirmy, kicks, and tries to look around. So i just started laying her in her crib and off to sleep she goes. im so proud.

What a night....

So after Peyton's shots yesterday she wasnt in the best mood. Well she went to bed fine at 7 and Brian came home about 7:30 and we just hungout, went to bed at about 10:30. So 12:30 rolls around and Peyton starts screaming! i run into her room and i just know that her thighs are hurting from the shots. So i yelled for Brian to make a bottle because i couldnt just leave her there screaming while i made one. I changed her diaper and it made her cry harder. I noticed she felt warm so i decided to take her temp. It was 101.3, so i tell Brian to ge her some Motrin and i gave that to her (which she hates) and then finished her bottle. Well by then she was all excited that mom and dad were both in her room and didnt want to go back to sleep =/ so Brian offered to stay up and get her back to sleep.. i was so happy for that. Although i didnt go to sleep till Peyton did, it was still nice to be in my own bed... she is still sore this morning and has a fever of 100.6, but she seems to be feeling ok and laughing and trying to play. My poor baby. =(

So we went for Peytons 6 month well baby and shots and we used to go to the army hospital on post... but since its so busy there they outsourced us to a local family practice... so this place is kind of country... the didnt even have a digital baby scale... (and the wallpaper made me wanna run away) so it comes time for her shots and they didnt have Pediarix which is the 3 in one SO THEY SHOT MY BABY WITH 5 NEEDLES!!!!!! and they made ME hold her arms down while she freaked out!!! and some other nurse held her legs while 2 other nurses shot my poor child!!! Then the didnt even carry the rotovirus so i STILL have to go on post to the army hospital to get it, when i could have just went there in the first place!!! i feel traumatized!!!!!!!!!!! i called Brian afterwards and he is soooo pissed, he said when we call to make her next appointment with Tricare he is demanding that we stay on post!

Ugh i CANNOT stand getting out of bed before it is even light outside!!!

On a good note, Peyton slept from 7-4 last night... But my stupid ass didnt go to bed till 11pm so instead of the good 6-7 hours i could have gotten i only got 5 hours of sleep. Then only another 2 hours because Brian got up to get ready for work, which is fine only he sucks at being quiet and ended up waking Peyton up and then she didnt want to go back to sleep. SO we layed in bed for an hour watching cartoons so mommy could wake up a bit. I think the harder Brian tries to be quiet the more noise he actually makes!!!

So now Peyton is playing happily in her jumper and im debating on being lazy and going back to sleep during her nap. I have one load of laundry to do, but the rest of the house is clean so i think i can be lazy for a couple hours. Besides who's gonna stop me!!! Im so tired of doing laundry. Before Peyton, Brian, and I moved in together i was washing my clothes and the very tiny clothes of Peyton. Well now im washing my clothes (which get spit up on so i have to change alot) Brians civilian clothes plus his uniforms, and Peytons extensive wardrobe plus all her bibs and rags, and the giant mountain of bath towels that always seem to accumulate in between laundry days!!! i used to not mind laundry but now its up at the top of my most hated list right next to dishes!!!

10am and im already annoyed...

So this morning Peyton wakes up at 7... Ok no big deal its what time she usually wakes up anyways.. well for some reason im exhausted and Brian is complaining of a headache. Well crabby butt Peyton must have still been tired so she went back to sleep at about 8 and Brian and i go back to sleep. Well i wake up at 9:45 and its 15 mins before church starts. i never set an alarm because Peyton always wakes me. So 15 mins is NOT enough time to get me ready, Peyton ready, Brians lazy a$$ out of bed and feed and let out the dogs and make it to church. So i missed church and im kind of upset because i missed last week too because of a fussy baby.

So now its 10:22 and i have to feed Peyton, feed and let the dogs out, get Peyton dressed for the day (which is all fine and dandy) but Brian is STILL IN BED!!!! i went and asked if he was gonna lay in bed all day and he says, "I still have a headache." well maybe if you didnt drink that giant Rum and Coke last night yo would feel like shit! so now here i am stuck with a crabby baby (her teeth are bugging her) and i just wanna go roll Brian out of bed and make him get up because im sorry but laying in bed doesnt make a headache go away. ok im done venting...

The New Blog

So hopefully this blog will go better then my last. I made a blog on wordpress and after about i week i just stopped posting.. oops. so anyways, today is my baby Peyton's 1/2 birthday. i CANNOT believe that she is 6 months already. I was going through stuff today for our yard sale that we are having soon and i pulled out some newborn socks and sleepers and whatnot and i swear i shed a few tears. Although i am glad we are out of the NEW newborn stage i dont miss the teeny tiny clothes. Im hoping with the money that i make with the yard sale we can get Peyton some new clothes since her chunky butt is already growing out of 6 month clothes and she just turned 6 months TODAY!!!

I cant believe that Halloween is only a week away. Peyton is going to be a little Ladybug. I cant wait to see her in her costume. My girlfriend Tia and her baby Eve are coming over and we are going to pass out candy since both of our men have to work that night... Boo to that one!

Last Sunday we went to the SC State Fair and i was very disappointed. No one here knows what a freaking cheesecurd is! its cheese dipped in batter and deepfried!! its the most delicious fair food EVER! These are the things that make me miss Minnesota where i was born and raised!!! i guess thats what happens when youre with a military man, you make sacrafices... like NO CHEESECURDS!! lol

well time to watch a movie with my man. tonight its: Ghosts of Girlfriends Past
